Holiday (1)

We've just had a weeks holiday travelling around the North Island. Went to Cambridge for a family celebration, then visited more family in Putaruru, then up to Tauranga to catch up with some friends, two of which , I hadn't seen for over 40 years. Then on to Opotiki through the Waioeka Gorge to Gisborne, down to Napier and then home. Here are some of the first photos I snapped.
Cambridge Volunteer Fire Brigade has this nice shiny F150 as a light-weight appliance.
Looks like brand new, but is in fact over 7 years old.

1965 Ford Galaxie convertible on the street in Cambridge.

Very original looking 4.2 Daimler Sovereign, also in Cambridge.

One of the many Fonterra Volvo milk tankers, passes through Putaruru.

Chevy C10 from 1983 parked near the RSA in Putaruru.

Nice paint on International 9800 doesn't look like its a 2012 model.

No rego plates on these Kenworths, suggests that maybe they have retired.

Mack Ultra-liner from 1993 parked in Putaruru.
