Tui Brewery V8 Day 2019 (2).

'71 Fairlane is similar to the Falcon of the same year, but with different
panels at front and back and a longer wheelbase

Buick Skylark from 1965 has very straight lines, typical of that era, but I like it.

Distinctive styling for Ford's '63 Thunderbird.
Front end styling was copied by Ford Great Britain, for the Corsair.

'56 Dodge Custom Royal, suits its colour scheme.

It's hard to believe that Ford Australia didn't build these in very large numbers because they weren't that popular.
Now (partly because of their low numbers) they are very collectible. This 1965 XP is even more desirable, being a V8.

Pony cars from Ford and GM.

'95 Mustang in a very Ford colour.

1989 Silverado.

Two Chevrolet 350s from consecutive years and built by Holden in Australia.

1947 Studebaker Champion is a nice old car and yes, you're right, it isn't a V8.
Flathead six.

The model of Falcon I like, but not so much the bonnet protrusion and
I haven't made up my mind about the wheels.

Just as we were leaving, this VF Valiant Regal with Australian plates (WA I think)  came along the road.

Tui Brewery V8 Day 2019 (1).

24th November was Tui Brewery's last monthly motor related day, for this year. V8s was the theme.
2009 Morgan Aero uses a 4.8 litre BMW for propulsion.

1978 Ford Falcon Cobra. I like the styling of these models of Falcon, but actually prefer the 4 door sedan.

I like Corvettes, but always find this model a bit too angular.
This is a 1986 C4.

'67 Ford Mustang convertible with rego plate giving a hint about the power plant.

1952 Ford with flames.

'68 Chevy Impala hardtop 327.
Similar to above, but this time a '67.

1970 Chevrolet Camaro 327.
'69 Chevy Caprice 427.

'59 Apache is a handsome truck.

'96 Chevy C1500 and '98 Ford Fairmont.

1977 Chevy is not the most handsome El Camino model.

North Island Classic Truck Run (4).

More photos from out on the road.
1984 Mack R612RS heads onto the road...

...and then Garrity's own 1972  Dodge with Detroit 6V-53 power.
Garrity's have two of these. The other one they have owned from new and the original Perkins engine.

1980 D2412  Ford is painted in Transport Wairarapa livery.
Transport Wairarapa had many of these as stock trucks in the 70s and 80s,
usually pulling a trailer and powered by the 504 Cummins.

1986 Scania T112H.
"T" denotes a conventional layout (long nose),
"11" tells us it's an 11 litre engine,
"2" is a series identification and
"H" is a heavy duty chassis.
