North Island Classic Truck Run (1).

The North Island Classic Truck Run was held on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of November. I took these photos at Garrity Bros yard in Greytown, from where they started off.

English Paccar alongside American cousins.

Garrity's classic Dodge shares space with current working fleet.

1975 Kenworth LW924R looks magnificent with those big straight stacks and the added sleeper box......

....and a 12V-71 on its back.

'77 Kenworth C500 and '76 Scammell Crusader, having a wash before hitting the road.
Both are 8V-71 Detroit powered.

'83 Mitsubishi FV315 is powered by a 16 litre V8.

2003 Mack CL788RS.

'82 International SF2670 now presented in the livery of  Waikato Heavy Haulage, has spent some time as a logger.

Mack, Mitsubishi, Kenworth, Scammell.

Kenworth cab-over carries a V16 Detroit over its fifth wheel for ballast.

Chevy pick-ups from 1956 and 1937.
