38th Annual Sunbeam Car Club Lake Ferry Run (on the road photos).

I was a bit late arriving this year, so I elected to go ahead of the cars and take some photos on the road. I tried using a slower shutter speed to show some sense of movement, but I got it a bit too slow and blurred many of the shots.

1967 Sunbeam Tiger with the 260 ci Ford V8.

1960 Sunbeam Rapier Series 3 with 1500cc engine.

1959 Sunbeam Alpine Series 1, uses the same engine as the above Rapier.

1958 Austin Healey 100/6 is shown to have an engine of 3000cc, which means it has had an engine transplant.

The fuel injected Triumphs were often avoided in their early years.
There so-called unreliability was in most cases caused by lack of information and lack of understanding by mechanics brought up with carburettors.
